A First-Timer's Guide to Lebanese Food in Lawrenceville
Lebanese food is built for sharing. Most meals are a spread of small dishes, dips, and bread, and everyone takes a little of each. If you have never eaten it before, this is a simple way to start.
Start with the dips
Hummus is the easiest entry point. It is chickpeas blended with tahini and lemon, and it is made fresh in our kitchen. Baba ganoush is a smoky roasted eggplant dip, and it is a good second choice if you want something different. Both come with warm pita for scooping.
Add something hot
Our falafel is made from scratch and is vegan. It works as a side, in a wrap, or over Lebanese rice. For meat, the chicken shawarma is hand-stacked and shaven from the rotisserie, served with garlic (toum) sauce.
Pick a shape for your meal
You can order a wrap if you want something to eat on the go, a bowl over Lebanese rice with fresh veggies if you want more filling. Add a dip such as hummus to share. A good first order is one wrap plus a hummus dip, so you can compare them side by side.
Stay for dessert
Our menu includes baklava, a layered pastry with nuts and syrup, which is a traditional finish to a Lebanese meal. Check the full menu for current items and prices, and plan your visit with our location and hours.
