Food Truck
Our original format. Lower startup cost and a fast way to build a following before going brick-and-mortar.
- Breweries, festivals & events
- Private bookings & catering
- A path to a storefront
Real Lebanese street food, built from scratch every morning. Now we're looking for partners to bring Pita My Shawarma to their own communities.
A Note From Our Founder
In 2018 I drove a retired mail truck 1,000 miles home and turned it into a kitchen. Two years later we opened on Butler Street in the middle of a pandemic. We know how to build this from the ground up, and we want to build the next one with you.

Why Pita My Shawarma
Guests can taste the difference between food that's made and food that's assembled. Our systems make the real thing repeatable.
Hand-stacked cones, 24-hour marinades, and raw-chickpea falafel set us apart from frozen-and-reheat chains.
Our menu and workflow were built in a 60-square-foot kitchen, so they run lean anywhere.
Dine-in, online ordering, catering, food truck events, and an evening wine & mezze program.
Learn every station in our Pittsburgh kitchen, from building cones to running catering orders.
Launch playbooks, local social, and the digital marketing that built our Pittsburgh following.
We're still small enough that you'll work directly with the people who built the brand.
Ways to Own

Our original format. Lower startup cost and a fast way to build a following before going brick-and-mortar.

A full fast-casual storefront modeled on our Lawrenceville flagship, with counter service and online ordering.

Our flagship with an evening wine and small-plates program that keeps the room busy after lunch.

Questions
It depends on the format and your market. A food truck costs far less to start than a full restaurant. Fees, total investment ranges, and financial requirements are all laid out in our Franchise Disclosure Document, which we share after an intro call.
It helps a lot, but passion for hospitality and strong management skills matter most. Our training covers every station, from cones to catering.
We're starting with markets where we can support you closely, beginning around Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. If you're farther away, reach out anyway. Great partners can change our plans.
Yes, and that's exactly how we did it. A truck is a great way to build a following and learn the business before committing to a storefront.
Hands-on training in our Pittsburgh kitchen, help with site selection and build-out, opening support on-site, launch marketing, and ongoing access to our team.
Timelines vary with format, permitting, and real estate. A truck can be on the road much faster than a restaurant build-out. We'll map out a realistic timeline together.
Let's Talk
Reach out with a bit about yourself, where you'd like to open, and which format interests you. We'll set up an intro call.
