How Far Ahead Should You Book Catering?

The most common catering problem is booking too late. Good food takes preparation, and popular dates fill up. Planning earlier gives you more choice of time, menu, and format.

Our notice requirement

For large catering orders we ask for at least 24 to 48 hours notice so we can make sure the food is ready. That is the minimum. For weddings, holidays, and weekend events, start earlier.

Plan by event type

A corporate lunch can often be booked a few days ahead if the headcount is set. Weddings and rehearsal dinners need more lead time, especially in peak months, so book as soon as the date and venue are confirmed.

Send the right details

When you inquire, include the date, time, address, guest count, meal type, and dietary needs. The more complete the request, the faster we can confirm a quote.
